urgent help with custom ply tank needed

ok guys just very confused on the acrylic front and i need to order the sheet in the next few days

my tank 8x4x4 full ply and fiberglass construction with metel frames for the front will 25 mm or one inch acrylic be ok if not what will be ok for one inch as thats the thickest i can get were i am

I don't know if you have gotten your answer yet I see its been a few days now. But probably no Taller then 42 inches for 1". That's with a safety factor of 3. At 48 inches the safety factor is only 2. The industry slandered is 3.8

If you put a brace in the center of the window you could get away with 1". So you'd really end up with two 4ft. Windows instead of the full span buuuuut you'd b saving some $$. If not u def. Need 1.5"-2". pretty pricey.
