URGENT HELP!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I put my heaters horizontal on the bottom of my 55G tank, this way it's never uncovered. If the heater is uncovered I will have bigger problems and dead fish.

With that said I have a 29 Gallon Bio cube that has a heater vertical, and I almost did the same thing today when I did a big water change.

If you uplugged the heater all is safe, However in the future do that before you start the water change, Also look for any pieces of glass that fell in the tank when this happened and get them out. Live and learn, Dont tell anyone but ive done this myself, As probably a few others here who shall remain nameless, because they hate to own up to doing anything dumb. I stand corrected i replied before i read the other posts, since this was an emergency, i now see there are lots of dummys here not just me so im sorry for saying they wouldnt admit it.
