So one of my tanks with my top male peacocks somethings going on.
My fish are swimming normal but once in a while they shake and scratch. There's no signs of ich. It's just that they are shaking once in a while. I haven't added anything to my tank and it's been up and running for about 7 months and I've never had a sick fish in here. I'm really open to any advice because this is like 300$ worth of cichlids

Could be external parasite. Look closer at their bodies for any sign of them

Thanks for the advice,
I'm looking and their bodies seem normal.
I'm doing a 15% water change right now

I'll do that right now.
My moms freaking out because these are all her top breeders so she's screaming left and right at me to fix this >.<

Heat and salt works great this early. Do you have other tanks in the house? Could have come from cross contamination through shared equipment during a water change.

Agreed. First sign is the flashing behavior, before any spots. Crank the heat and add some salt, since you caught it this early I can almost guarantee it won't be an issue.

^^ this........

flashing is usually always a precursor to a parasite like ich, etc

Yeah I got about 7 other tanks in the room.
Uhm possibly but I mean no other tanks are sick
So how much salt should I add for 90 gallons ?
