urgent info please on tank divider

hi all, i have a fry of 40 2 month old front's which need to be placed in my tank away from the other tank mates and have no time to sort something decent out for a divider! my only option today as everywhere is shut is a friend who has some polycarbonate panels which he uses for conservatory roofs. does anybody know if this is safe in the aquarium please, as i don't want any disasters cheers in advance.

you could just buy some eggcrate from hd and use that or you could get one or two plastic containers that could float in your tank and put holes in them. when you put holes in them, use a heated nail to poke small holes in the side
