Urgent:Is something wrong with my gar?

Hi guys. If you look at the pics in my previous thread you will notice that my gars snout and the band on his lateral sides were black in colour. The rim around his eyes were also really black. They were the same colour about 3 hours ago. However now his snout and the band are brown in colour and the rim around his eyes are almost beige. Is this normal? Help pls ... freaking out here. I really dont want to lose him. What should I do? Eagerly awaiting replies.

i think it should be ok....
sometimes my gar turns almost white, when it gets tensed or scared....

I think hes alright now. I did a 15% water change and he seems to have got some of his colour back. Even tried to go for a shrimp. Thank you very much for the quick reply.

fish can be very tempermental. you just have to be patient and careful. im sure he will be fine. just keep up w/ the water changes, but dont do anything too extreme. after all he is just a baby. goodluck!
