For $40 why not? Would've a good cheap project and if you get it to hold water you have a nice tank

There are no cracks or chips he said it leaks near the frame, maybe I would have to resell the frame which would be really easy, he said there wasn't a top brace but I don't think there is supposed to be one in the design

Ya why not? At first i thought the canister came with but that would have been to good!

I would offer $25 and go from there. Not a lot of people want to take on the project of resealing a tank but if you're willing to do it then go for it. I wouldn't pay any more than $40 for it though.
