Hey guys my friend is currently having problems with his water. The surface of the water is full of bubbles. Any advice on wat to do?

Did your friend put any sort of chemicals in the tank? Coz i know things such as pimafix and melafix can sometimes cause bubbles, but not quite that bad...

By anti-chlorine, do you mean Prime or something else?

But i do agree doing a larger water change should help...

+1 on the chemicals. I'm a big fan of Melafix and it does exactly that when I treat the tank.

I would also agree with the others and recommend a big water change and test the perimeters.

Moved to setup and filtration

Looks that it could be protein scum, on the surface. Sometimes, your fish excretes undigested proteins which lead to certain process.. There are several chemical solutions, or maybe you can try a commercial foam fractionator
