I had 2 bass, some sunfish, etc. I just did a water change about 4hr ago, and One bass is dead and the other is barely alive and breathing hard. I used declore, some ph up, and some flourish excel. the flourish excel and ph increase I used at half dose. the water was changed about 30%. They were thriving yesterday. I need help soon so my other bass doesn't die. all of my other fish are ok.

I always fill it on the lowest temp possible. It never bothered my fish before. I usually have the temp at 70 and the tap water I use is about 70. I also have a ton of air in the tank.
I make sure I use the declore each time

Are any of the chems you put in a new bottle?

The only new thing is the flourish excel. Can that lower o2 levels?

Could a bad batch of excel be the problem? I don't know if it's plausible, any one else think it might be the case.

My second one seems to be doing ok since he is now swimming again. I did another 30% water change after I started this thread. It seems to have helped.
