Urgently need help!

Hi everyone!
I seriously dont know what's wrong with my silver arowana. Since morning, it seemed lethargic, barely moves with mouth gasping tiringly. Additionally it positions head upward, tail touches bottom (and i really have strong reason to believe it has difficulty passing the waste - there looks to be a streak of some yellow thing in the middle of the body!)
My tank's conditions are normal (as in pH and salt-level), water has just been changed too...
Please help and thanks in advance for any advice!

Try some epsom salt or shelled peas as these are natural laxitives... But it sound kinda like u got some ammonia

thanks for ur advice! but how can u check to know if there's ammonia? the pet guy just put in some medicine and he asked me to wait for it to get better though... so i don't dare to touch it now

Ammonia test strips, u can get them at walmart or your local pet store.

I would take a sample of water to your lfs if nothing else. Consider investing in the water test kit. If there is ammonia change 20% of the water. Gl.
