Anyone on here keep these? Looked them up on google found one site listing them as a different species of ray but with the same picture for each ray. I am considering these as my first sw ray. would love to see your pictures and set ups. I have heard these can be bred in home aquaria if given the right conditions and diet. I originally wanted a blue spotted ray but they seem to be pretty difficult to keep from what I have read.

Search "yellow stingray" or "yellow ray" and you'll find a lot of info.

Adults were in a 500 gallon. It was a bit too tall and not enough floor space... but gallonage was fine for offseting their load. Never had chemistry issues at all.

"Typical" saltwater.... 8.0 or so. They go through a wide temp range in the wild.... they see below 70F in the Winter months and mid 90F in the Summer. In tank/pool, I'd shoot for mid to upper 70s for temp.

the cold weather that swept thru the keys last year wiped alot out but firm one diver I know they are on the up swing I hope. They didnt do well in my system with different types of rays
