US filter fitting threads

I'm looking at importing a Aqua Ultima 2 bead filter for my up and coming 8x4 tank, as there's nothing in the UK i can find suitable.

Only problem I can see as it's not electrical is the different types of threads.

Am I going to be able to use UK pipe fittings on them??

Also any know the makers web site or wherea detailed info sheet is? Want to know dailey feed rates it allows, bead capacity etc.

I dont see why there shouldnt be some adapter available for you, usually it's pretty darn easy to find somthing, maybe filters are diffrent as I am not familuar with that filter

I'm guessing/ hoping the thread sizes are the same to 1 of the types of pipe work i can get over here.

Found theall info I need on the filter now on there site apart from feeding rates and media surface areas etc.

ah ha the ultima usaes NPT threads, where as us brits have BSP threads.
