Congratulations to Bush supporters, and thank you from the US Air Force for contributing in the best overall election this country has ever seen. In 2008, let's break our records again!!

agreed, but I guess people were afraid of Kerry, he was in my opinion, the weekest Democratic candidate in my time in this country (1988). Remember that expression, better the evil you know .... :)

I would say the best expression is "better strong and wrong than weak and right" summed this one up, whaddya think?
I voted for Bush because I can't stomach Kerry, and being a veteran now myself, I understand the hatred some share for him. He did a LOT of sketchy things in the few short months he spent in Vietnam, and LOTS more when he returned, and I think that made voters think.

BTW my statment was generally to thank everyone for voting, I did not mean Bush supporters only. I enjoy fighting and offering my life for the right to vote as such, and we appreciate it in the military when the public takes up their right!

hey tony,

Of course, though living in the Democratic Republic of California did not help the cause much :)

Was expecting it to last a bit longer though... But I suppose Kerry saw no point as the odds are overwhelming.

Cheers,

The democratic party in my mind gave up when they put Kerry up as their cantidate. I thik Bush is a better leader and I think he will do a good job. YO uhave to remember that plans and ideas take time to develpoe and take form. SO we will see.

Bush is not perfect but I personally like the major ideas behind the party. I want to keep the hard earned money that I work for. I don't want to give it al laway to take care of everybody else. I want there to be programs set up for the less fortunate but at the same time I don't want to give away what I work for to people who don't even try in life.

Again Buish is not perfect and there are a lot of things to work on. I am most scared abotu the economy and Social Security. I want it to be there when I get older.

Back to Kerry. The guy was jsut un-trustable and very odd. He changed his mind too many times and is in no way a leader. I really think if the Democratic party had nominated somebody with even a little likability that they would have won hands down.

Um... considerate :) So do any of you Americans want an NHS then?

What are Britain's more liberal socialist views thought of in America?
