Have we learned nothing from the Iraq debacle?
 
This is nothing like Iraq. The people started it and we are just helping them. People just love to scream about iraq no matter what else is going on.

I don't know what "people" love to do but I don't like to see our troop members get sent to be killed needlessly....Like you said,the Libyans finally got tired of this despot so let them and their neighbors overthrow him.On the other hand,who is in place to run that country once we take down Moamar?...Sound familiar?

I don't think you really understand that Muammar Gaddafi is murdering the people of Libya. He has been the dictator sense 1969. This had made his head way too big. This a prime example as to why our presidents do not hold office for more than 8 years. But I bet if you live in Libya you would want some one to step in and help you.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Sadam Hussein was doing the same thing to his constituents..I don't get the connection with his dictatorship and the term limit of our presidents....I don't recall the Libyans asking anyone to help them get rid of Gaddafi but there are plenty of countries in that region who could have stepped up and helped out long ago.....

Because no one man should have that power for that long.
