I have a question about an acrylic tank. I am wondering if this is something I can work with. It has some lines/stretch marks/scratches inside the panel of acrylic. U cant feel it on the surface. is this something to be concerned with? Is there something I need to do before filling it with water to extend the longevity? What is that called?
Also, it was set up for a saltwater tank. It has 2 holes in the back of the tank right in the center. I have freshwater and planned on using HOB filters. What do I do with these holes? It seems that it was set up with a reverse osmosis system or drip system. Not sure..there were 2 white pipes that connected into to other smaller acrylic boxes..it was a filtration process but im not sure what. Any ideas? How much work or what is involved in filling the holes?
