I am looking at a 325 glasscages tank. It is 96x32x27. It has starphire glass on the front and sides, large center overflow. Seller is including stand (which looks amazing and not a hack job), all plumbing, and a marineland model 4 sump. $1,350 is what we came to agree upon. Is that a fair price?

Now what to put in it? I have a 180 freshwater, with a florida gar I've had for 17 yrs, and a jack dempsey. And a 125 reef..Part of me wants to do a kickass reef tank, but I think I will move the gar into the 325, he deserves it. Maybe go with cichla..not sure what else.

Any other advice/tips are appreciated. This will be the largest tank I have had.

Thanks!

Just did the math, looks like a 359 gal tank.

if to look this https://claz.org/classifieds?q=marineland+model+4+sump you are very lucky with the price

This means nothing.. You will always find silly people who want way more then their stuff is really worth!!! I could have bought a 540 gallon 96 x 36 x 36 with stand canopy and 2 fx5 filter for $2,000.

I my self would not pay that much for a 360 but as they say something is only worth what someone is willing to pay or it!! So if it is worth that much to you then yes it is worth it!!! Sounds like a nice setup...

Sounds like a great deal. Especially with the sump and stand and everything you are going to get. Finding quality stuff in good shape is hard to do. If it was me I would be thinking stingrays for future stock. Go for it, You are getting a good deal.

Thanks guys. We settled on 1200 for everything. I'll probably move the gar into the 350 and sell the 180. The 125 is rr and only a few months old.

it should be a fun tank to move. I'll need to build a canopy for it though.

Finally got the stand in the basement. The front panels aren't all assembled in the pic. Tank is going in on Sunday. Has 3 drains and 3 returns. It was a nice reef tank when it was set up prior and has starfire glass.

Haha. ..we just moved in. The tank will be on another wall (painting currently over the ugly green)...and we don't have a land line..ha
