There shouldn't be any risk of a blow out if it holds water. If you have leaks then the tank strength might be compromised and it could "blow out"

All acrylic tanks bow a little

the tank look like its been modified the integrity may be compromised , after buying a tank its then you notice things like small bubbles in the seams or small hair like cracking of the seals so be cautious, Good Luck

thats a good deal for socal.. and since that in MD thats an AMAZING deal..

acrylic is pretty easy to reinforce.. novus 1,2,3 and some 1600 grit sandpaper will clean that baby right up.. if youve got the funds go for it.. and dont be afraid to try and get the price down a bit.. ya never know sometimes it works..

this reminds me of a thread i read recently. A guy bought a used acrylic tank, by the pictures it looked brand new. Then when he test filled it, it blew. I think his was also in the 2-300 g range. .. ....Personally I wouldnt buy a used acrylic that has bowing...IMO
