Used Aqua Classic UV worth the savings?

I've made my mind up to go with an Aqua UV. I'm thinking with the right flow the 25 watt would be sufficient for my setup (640 gallons). That said new they're about $300 and it seems like you can find used ones that look to be in very good shape on eBay for less than half that. Other than bulbs would the worry of having to replace something expensive on a used one scare you away?

A new bulb will run you $50-60. Personally, the peace of mind of buying brand new is worth the extra couple bucks you'll spend initially.

I'm with shook on this; how much less expensive is the used one? If I got used, most likely I'd want to replace the bulb. You're then hitting close to 2/3 of a new one.

I think you guys are right. Sometimes it's not better to save a few bucks upfront.
