Used Novus 3step on my Acrylic. What Type of prefill steps needed?

What steps do I have to take before putting water in this thing to house fish?

Does it need to be wiped down or simply Rinsed off? I would prefer to Not wipe it off. Don't want to risk scratching it. Could I just fill it up all of the way and then drain it?

Any input From Experince with Novus will be appreciated!

I would wash it down with vinegar to take any chemicals out the rinse fill then drain then finally refill just to be on the safe side

Vinigar on acrylic? Is that okay?
