Used tank, Cloudy glass ?

Just got a used tank about 10 yrs old and glass tops are real cloudy, did what i could to scrub them up with everything i had. Just wondering if there are any suggestions on what to use, or after time is this cloudiness just ruined the glass?

vinegar or CLR should clean them right up

Some water and a clean new razor blade do wonders

distilled white vinegar. if you are going to use vinegar. that is what i used... and it did the trick

Tried the vinegar, and did not even touch it and clr maybe helped a little, but still is pretty bad. Is there any thing else i could try?

Did you try the new razor? what about soaking the glass in the tub with CLR for a few hours?

1000grit sand paper

the razor didnt work either.and when i used the vinegar and clr i scrubbed the hell out of it.
