So i bought a used 150 off craigs list, beautiful tank and stand. The seller warned me it need to be re-sealed in the bottom left. I did so. Waited 24 hours and did a leak test.
Oh this is me being excited about filling up a brand new tank!
This is me super excited that these little guys will soon be moving from a 55 to a 150 mansion!
This is me not so excited when i hear a steady flow sounding like water dripping into water (its hard to see but water is leaking from *somewhere* into the ref (yes un-treated, un-salted, hose water is going into my REF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a bulkhead who's threads have been snapped... how did i miss that?
Moral of the story:
Replace all hardware no mater how good you think you are at spotting leaks.
Side Note:
I dumped about 3+ gallons into the sump however quickly added some salt and some water conditioner and my Caulerpa seems un-effected as of yet.
