Using cloth pools for toothy fishies?

Have any of you used any of the cloth pools for toothy fishes like gars or pirhanas?
i am already looking in planning ahead for my monster pond. gars will be the fish some longnose and some floridas.
my concern is their teeth ripping it.

Id install a pond liner around it just to be safe. That would also help insulate it

Far as I know this is still a liner cloth is used as barrier to ground to keep Sharp objects from coming through the bottom. I may be wrong its been a while since I saw an above ground pool. As for a liner plenty of people use these type pools.
