Ok, so some of my tanks have these tiny tiny white worms in them. All over the glass, crawling on the plants, it's foul. I've consulted an exotic vet about treatment, and he recommended a medicated food, but in one of my EMPTY tanks, the fish that were in there did not eat the food, and I still have worms on the glass. So I decided to shock the tank with a huge dose of copper sulfate (Aquari-Sol).

My question is, should I take the plastic plants out? Is it possible for the plastic plants to soak up the copper and possibly kill the next fish I put in the tank? I kinda need to know because I want to put some EBJD's in it.
