I know you guys have big tanks here and, i was just wondering as to what brand dechlorinator you all use to treat your water when doing humongous water changes. is there like a gallon jug or cheaper wholesale price since weekly water changes are a must.

Definitely have to go with prime from seachem. It comes in 4 litres jugs. Lasts me about a year and 2-3 months and costs around $100. It's a pretty good deal to me.
Same here. Bulk is the way to go.
I also buy massivore 2.2 pound bags @ $50.

I use Prime. Always. You can not overdose on it ~ I spoke with the company once.

You can most definitely overdose with prime. I've seen it done. I use TetraPond.

I talked with the company numerous times and they stated that you can not. I have not tried it but if you say you can ~

So be it.

I have heard you can double dose without any side effects.
Besides that I have never heard of anyone overdosing so I can not add anything there.

API tap Water Conditioner........doent take care of ammonia(prime does), but it is cheaper(than prime)

i use aquasafe and streecoat. you can over dose or use more than you need and it won't kill your fish but its a wast of money!!
