Hi, I have a tank with some gravel in it + java ferns, just not a lot of substrate to really plant stuff. So I decided to mix some aquatic mix http://www.daltons.co.nz/home-gardening/retail-products/specialty-potting-mixes/aquatic-mix with gravel we collected from the beach a while a go, its mainly mini pebbles about 2mm- 1cm and I have a lot. I have already seen daltons used in tanks(and under beach sand) the main question is whether the beach gravel is ok or not, what do you think? I can see small bits of shell in it too. Thanks
