Using Lattice Pools to build an Outdoor Pond

I am currently thinking of going this route, as I have scrapped my plans of the concrete/fibreglass pond that I had planned.

Right, so I know that people do this out there ...
I just want to know if it's really worth doing (lifetime), and safe for the fish as well?
From what I read, the lattice has a long life than most pond liners.

I can just imagine the algae growth and such on it after awhile though.... although for some fish that may work..

comment: i am currently thinking about the same thing...im not sure which one be better or just preferences but i kinda like this one...dont get me wrong the pool you want to use is also good..just dont know the dimensions....

I am using a lattice pond 2650mm diameter that holds 3250 liters. One of those cheap type swimming pools with a blue liner. It has been going for over 1,5 years with absolutely no problems. I use a bio-filter aquaponics set up.
