Hola everyone, it's been FOREVER since I've posted on here...

I recently saw a commercial involving leeches (its a spoof of sorts), and I wondered if leeches are truly a viable food for tank kept fish....

is there any drawbacks to using leeches.. and what are the benefits?
last but not least, where the hell would I even get them, I'm ion the Philadelphia area, so more specific sources would be GREATLY appreciated

Thanks in advance!

I have fed leeches, but they are crafty escape artists.

that's ok, my fish are crafty fugitive investigators... I rarely have anything make it beyond touching the surface in the tank... so I think that'll be ok, now.. where to get them?

I don't know specifically but if there are any bait and tackle shops anywhere would be a good try. you could also order them off the net from a bait supplier.

You do know that those leeches can stick on any surface? They WILL find a way out. The only good leech is a dead leech.
