Using my photos without permission at eBay

So, I just found 3 persons (1 German, 2 Americans) using my photos in their auctions at eBay. I was wondering how you people handle things like that, do you just ask them to remove the photos or are you being even more strict about it?

Somewhere here there is a thread on that, which includes Jay's letter that he sends to anyone he finds using images. It's a typical "seize and desist" type letter, but formulated for image use. Look around in "general" area it's there.

I was remembering that there was some discussion about it, but I didn't manage to find it with search. I probably used some weird search words. I'll try to search again, thanks.

In my opinion a polite letter is appropriate as a first step and it should be all that is required. But if the problem happens again, you could threaten to inform the website and ask them to ban the vendor. Of course you'd make much more money from legal action against e-bay :badgrin: if you win!
