I'm currently housing South American eartheaters and I'm trying to keep the water at a low ph and soft by using blackwater extract.This seems to work for a short while then my ph jumps back up. So I want to start using Fluvals peat granules in my 406 cannister filter but there are no guide lines on how much to use. So I was wondering if there is any one out there who has experience using this type of media.The tank is a 125 gal and is filtered with a Fluval 406.
