Using rocks found outside for tank decor?

Is this ok to do, or do you risk introducing bacteria into your tank? Or could you soak the rocks in a bleach/water mix, or something similar, to clean it before using it? Just wondering, thanks!

I have done this,,, I just boiled the rock before putting it in my tank

What I do is I first soak the item in bleach and water over night then I boil it.

Um i don't think so.. Atleast it hasn't happened to me.....yet
