im going to buy sand tomorrow to put in the bottom of my tank what should i do about removing my gravel? what should i do with my fish and water while im adding sand?

CLEAN kitty litter scoops work great for removing gravel.. rubber storage bins work great for holding fish and water..
as for the sand just wash it and do some searching... its been covered countless times..

use something from the kitchen like a big ass cookin spoon if you leave your fish in the tank it will be a **** storm
make sure to clean your sand thoroughly and take your time in small batchs and pack your filters with fine filter floss and will clean any fine particles that will float around.
Rubbermaid tubs make good housings for gravel and fish while you clean it out. Ive used an old large aquarium net to take the gravel out.
