So I had the idea to use white marcle chips in my aquarium because the sand kept clogging the filters AFTER I had hand rinsed it for hours before putting in the tank. Anyway I went to walmart and got a 40 pound bag for like $4.00. I put the chips unto a small wheel barrel and wheeled it to the out door garden hose. I wasted the chips out in the barrel and than started loading them into 2.5gal buckets. I carried the buckets to the aquarium and started loading it in. I have to say that you have to be careful when putting in the chips because mine were a large size and it could have easily broke the bottom glass panel. It does look great those and cost affective. If you have catfish I wouldn't use this because the rocks would be hard on their bellies.

Looks nice. I just set up my new tank a couple of days ago and I also used marble chips but mine were the size of pebbles.

I also forgot to say that this substrate stays cleaner because it allows a good amount of water movement through the rocks. That is only if you buy the rock-sized marble chips though.
