What a freak show, but at the same time its a good way too look at the way a frogs reproductive skeletal and internal organs/systems works.

there are see-throughish frogs... there is one almost completely clear, unless I was imagining it, i'll have a look through. Lots of reed frogs are pretty clear also. Maybe it's the level of "see-through-ness" that sets these apart. Interesting though.

Hahahaha this was going to be part of my science fair project, beleive it or not. I saw this article a while ago, theres a vid too, you can see the beating heart and all those little fixin's.

They said it is a double recessive mutation that's causing that. I'm guessing that frog is basically a "snow" morph like a snow corn, ball, or boa.

It's basically a homozygous carrier of both albino and axanthic traits. Pretty cool...save a frog!

i second the first post...

kind of cool but weird too....

thats cool. at superpet (canadian chain store with better reptile selection than petsmart) they have two albino california kingsnakes or something, and when the snakes climb the glass, you can see their hearts beating. really cool stuff.
