UV light in sump

can i put in a small 300gph pump in my sump and connect the UV to my sump insteaed of in the tank? will that be as effective?

It couldn't hurt...but...your either diluting the second chamber's unprocessed (un-sterilized) water or recontaminating the water from the UV however you want to look at it.

What's in the middle chamber?

Place it completely in the center chamber.

Is the UV too small to put on the output of the sump?
