UV lights... shock or no shock

i just went and run my new 180 gal tank. and it has an aqua uv on it... 25w. i notice on the clear vinyl tubing that the light was as if traveling for 4-5 inches then its gone. i wonder if this is some sort of electric current? would i need a ground cable to eliminate this? don't want my fish having fried shock once they are placed in the tank.

It's not electrical, just light leakage, not harmful, normally you don't see this...what brand/model is this.

it is an aqua uv 25w... i am running it with a mag drive 18 which pumps 1800gph on it since it's 1 ft away from it. so i don't need to worry?

usually people use black tubing so the light wont escape as much
