UV Lights

I’m new to MFK but have kept fish for years…

While looking around I’ve noticed there aren’t any posts discussing UV lights…

I’ve been using them in different applications for about 5 years and although they are by no means ‘necessary’ they can accent filtration in a couple ways.

Has anyone else here tried them? Were you impressed?

Howdy,

I assume you mean UV sterilizers? 'Cause with UV lighting, you tank would be a puddle of algae. Just try a search here in this forum, and you'll find they are somewhat popular, especially in critical situations such as quarantine or tanks with sun exposure.
