Hi everyone. A couple weeks ago, I made the mistake of cleaning out both my filters at once and as a result my water has been cloudy from what I assume is a bacterial bloom. Should I unplug my UV sterilizer to allow the bacteria to establish faster? I'm a little bit worried because I have been battling fin rot and cloudy eye during the past couple days. If I turn the UV off, will the diseases get worse?

Leave the UV on, the filter will still start back up but you could add some BIO-Spira or material from a good filter (friend ot LFS) to seed yours.
