I'm also looking at an ozinizer instead of uv.
I haven't got all my ducks in a row yet but from what I understand the water becomes clearer and more oxygen enriched. It also aids in the breakdown of ammonia and nitrite. And it is also more efficient at killing bacteria. Downside is if you don't know what your doing you could kill all your fish!Gr8KarmaSF;3095212; said:I was think this as well...
Care to elaborate on this? Reasoning?
Can't wait to see your thread Mike.csx4236;3095626; said:I use UV and will always use it, I am also building a OZONE system for my place now and will have it up and running very soon. When you combine UV and OZONE you get very good results. All major public aquariums use OZONE these days. But it can also be very harmfull to your fish is not done properly so make sure get a good system with automated monitor. I will make thread once I get started.
