UV sterilizer question

Hey guys I have never used a UV sterilizer but im going to be setting up a 125 gallon saltwater tank in the future and figured more filtration couldn't hurt .

I found this one for sale used on craigslist and the guy is asking $100 for it, what do you guys think?

Im not too familiar with uv sterilizers but i would suggest lookin up the prices online.
Im also sure someone on here could answer for you but will probably want to know the wattage of the unit.

Appears to be about a 40w unit based on it's length.
You need to check the following:
1) Ballast still works
2) Quartz sleeve not cracked
3) Bulb still have life left
4) Seals are still good

That will drive repair cost up. List above is in order of most expensive to least. I personally think $100 is too expensive.
