UV Sterilizer run time

Do any of you that use a UV Sterilizer run it 24/7? If not what do you do?

I run mine 24/7 UNLESS im medicating with prazipro or metronidazole. Might be some other meds you should turn it off for as well.

Run UV 24/7, unless you medicate your tank, then you need to turn it off. There's warning on label of most, if not all, medicine bottle to turn UV off, since it will break down chemical and turn them into toxic. You don't need to turn UV off when you use conditioner (Prime, etc...) or Stress coat
