UV sterilizer which one....

i want to buy a uv sterilizer for my 75 gallon african cichlid tank,but eventually i'ld like it on my 125.so i need some help with ,whats the best brand and could i use the same one on a 75g on the 125g?as you can tell i have no idea what i'm talking about.much help neeed.thanks in advance.

if i got the 6-18 watt for 250g would that be ok?is bigger better?i would maybe get the one for 500g 12-36 watt.now uv kills ich,algae and fungus ?what all does it do? sorry for the dumb questions.

sure would just keep in mine the Prince of the bulbs every time they die the one i have is the 3 x9 thats a 30 dollar bulb

i would not go more than the 6x18

I use one of mine on my Reef tank keeps the water clear and keeps Parasites out


in my pond i use one to keep the water from turning green , but since i have moved here i have not use that one, i am thinking of putting this one on my Discus Tank

yes you can or if you have a wet dry filter put inline to the return of the tank, or even a cansiter filter

ah i see you live in MN i use to live there i miss it

yea i'm sure once iget it i'll figure it out.if i was to use a canister i would still use all the medium in there,charcole and floss and so on?
