UV sterilizer

Hey all.

So I bought a UV sterilizer today, Algreen clearflo 1000. 13Watt bulb in it.
I bought it because it was on sale for $45 normal $96plus tax or something, so I couldn't pass it up...

So, how long/often should I run this on a 100G aquarium? And what GPH pump might be good There is a Jack/ 2 pink convicts in the tank...I know this was meant for pond use, but heh, it will work.

The site says $52.80 but when I went in I found it for $46 exactly as my receipt says, it was inside in the garden department with all their flowers etc. All pond supplies were 50% off.

Go scoop them up while you can I think this was the last one they had at my HD.

And a site note Rona wants $98 for this unit + tax.

They also Have canister filters with built in UV sterilizers. they were around the size of a FX5 and about $90(half price from 180)(there was also more expensive models). they include some bioballs, etc.

here's a couple pics. It looked decent, you do need to run a pump though for these.
