UV sterilizers and piranhas

I have a 125 gal. tank with red bellies in it, I running a eheim and 2026 and a xp2. Im interested in putting a uv sterilizer in, just wondering what your thoughts are.

Get it right away you will love it but you will need a 20 to 30 watt and put it on your eheim it will be slow enough to sterilizer your water. How many ghp is your eheim?

imo a sterilizer is a waste of money unless u have a pond..

Got one on my tank, its a 30 watt one from TMC. and i have my pump flow about 300lts an hour.

They arent at all nessisary im running one on my trop pond i believe a 25 watt and my water does always look cristal clear. and it does help prevent disease and paracites...... but they arent nessisary
