DO UV STERILIZERS PREVENT ICH AT ALL?

They can help. They will kill the free floating parasites that go through them. They can't completely cure it though.

They can only kill the free swimming stage, and only those that actually pass through the sterilizer. Many will not do so, especially if the tank has any kind of substrate.
