I am interested in getting a uv sterlizer for my macs tank. it is a 75g and im want to run it in line with my fluval 405. i was looking at coral life turbo twist but idk. what do you guys recommend. thanks in advance

i don't run uv sterilizers on my tanks, but i know plenty of people that run those coralife turbo twists and i've never heard a complaint about em.

Suspended algae? Green water?
There is a possibility of it slowing down the flow rate of your canister. If thats a concern, it might be something to look into.
If you do choose to run one, think about putting it on a timer. UV bulbs are pretty expensive and running it 12 on 12 off will get you longer life on the bulbs.

i want to get one because if you look long way through the tank there is a green tinge to the water. i have been trying to get rid of it for a few months now but nothing works. do you think the fluval 405 has to high of a flow rate to use it with a uv sterilizer
