UV troubles

im replacing my uv lamps and i get it all apart and find that the bulb is a lil hard to pull out.
i dont wana force it too much and the lamp shatters..
i thinking i have to cut the seals and replace those which means i have to buy them... :(

maybe there's a better way?

Did you unplug the other end too? These old Aquanetics UV have pins on both ends of the bulb. Be careful not to crack the quartz sleeve.
 
Strange that the bulb is sealed to the unit. Usually the quartz sleeve is sealed to the unit and the bulb is free to slide in and out of the sleeve. You just gotta pull it out. My buddy in San Diego bought the company and spare parts when it went under so maybe it can be fixed. That UV has seen better days.
