UV with rays?

I was wondering if the use of a UV is needed with rays? I currently have it but am thinking of switching filters.

I use UV on all my expensive fish including rays. It saves the need for most algae control and will help fend off any unwanted parasites in the tank. Not to mention it keeps your water crystal clear

i wouldnt run a tank without a UV make sure you turn it on 24/7

diffrent countrys have diffrent UV with diffrent watts

hear in the UK i would say the best on the market are TMC vectron which come in 8w,15w,25w and 30w

My favorite are the turbo twist models.Work well on most canisters and the flow is perfect. I use them with Rena xp3-4 on all my tanks.

They are like cd players in my opinion. Personal preference is all that makes one better than the other. Uv is uv
