UVB wattage per gallon?

So getting out of water filled tank and fish going to air filled and tegu, is there a general UVB light wattage per gallon like there is with water light wattage per gal?

Not really, any day basking lizard will need uvb to synthesize vit d-d3 and calcium absorption. Overexposure can be bad, herp clubs will tell you to go with a florescent tube uvb bulb, the best IMHO is hands down is zoo Med repti sun http://www.petmountain.com/product/...42-504983/zoo-med-reptisun-10-0-uvb-bulb.html

Then just buy a 10$ florescent tube fixture at your lhs that obviously matches the length of the bulb, if the tank is 4' long go for a 4' bulb and fixture. I order mine in bulk to save on shipping, replace every 10 or so months.

Spiral cfl uvb are becoming popular but I've heard from the pros that the high compact output can actually blind the animal or inhibit its eye sight over time.
