I spent $60 on flowers for my girlfriend and had them sent to her workplace. They should be getting there before 3pm and it's 7:30am here.

She called in sick...:nilly:

*edit- I could have spent that money on starting my shelly nano setup :( (but I love her, don't tell anyone)

How about your VDay Fails??

There's no VDay fail for me. I know it's there but I don't acknowledge it. I'm a cynic for that crap.
 
I have no fails because I boycott valentines day. My wife has never had anything for valentines day from me. I refuse to pay the highly inflated prices to tell my wife that I love her on one specific day of the year.
Here, flowers and chocolates cost double which sucks because my grans birthday is on valentines day. I am luck my understands why I buy them early if the florest won't play nice and reduce the price.
 
I got a spice rack and dish cleaning supplies one year. I didn't honor March 14 that year or for awhile actually. Heh.

This is awesome! I hate holidays in general (Halloween rocks)....but if I can give a little to get a LITTLE then I'm at least getting chocolates! At worst I eat chocolate!!!
 
Our anniversary is on the 14th, so there are now two days I don't have an excuse to forget :)
