Care to comment on the black belts in the pics? Are they a pair? Thanks!

There's no way to tell if they're a pair or not by looking at these two pics.

Bottom one looks male. Even if you have a male and female doesn't mean they will pair.

With black belts there is no way to tell male from female. The only thing you can do is bring them together and see what happens.
