Found this on the side of a canal in Florida, just the shell. I took it home and cleaned it...I've never seen an Apple Snail shell as big as this one, I guess I now know why they're called "Apple" snails.
Nice snail, mine was almost en route for getting to that monster status until it got eaten by my Cray. He just flipped it up after a year or so and chowed down.
